Autorema develops a new system for palletizing metal lids of easy installation, affordable and with on-line technical assistance
Robotic solutions for handling metal containers and lids are undoubtedly a safe bet if you want to save on production costs. However, many companies cannot face the high investment that a palletizing robot for sleeves of ends entails, not only in terms of price, but also in skilled employees to handle them.
In Autorema we are determined to incorporate the 4.0 industry to our equipment, with the objective to make accessible the technology to all type of companies. From this bet was born Minipal, a new system for palletizing sleeves of metal lids with which we want to help our customers to take the first step to dare with robotics.
To do this, we have designed a robotic palletizer for sleeves of ends with unique features that make it stand out from the rest: compact, easy to install, with online technical assistance and with a delivery time and cost well below the current palletizing systems.
It is so accessible that it does not matter the production speed of the line or if the customer has technicians trained to maintain a robot.
Instead of a robust and seemingly unwieldy system, the Minipal takes up 2300×2000 mm of floor space and it is ‘plug & play’. In other words, the customer can start it up without the need for our technicians. Moreover, as everything is in one piece, it can be installed in 1 or 2 days.
Another advantage is the delivery time, which we have managed to reduce to 3 months from the date of order, although our aim is to shorten it even further to 2 months.
The Minipal, or MCPT-01, is a very robust system, so it requires almost no maintenance, saving the customer from specialized robotic technicians. In addition, it incorporates a connection router so that, in case of failure, it can be solved remotely.
