New improvements are explained in the automation of metallic lid packaging
Autorema has participated in the prestigious Latin American Canmakers Conference, LATAMCAN 2021, celebrated in Mexico last September, where it presented a talk about ‘New improvements in the automation of metallic lid packaging’
The explanation was carried out by the industrial engineer and International Sales Manager of Autorema, Adrián Moreno, in the technical forum specialized in three pieces cans.
Moreno explained the reasons why a productive process should be automized, among which he mentioned the increase in productivity, reduction in labour, location of errors, repeatability and reproducibility, improvement in efficiency, quality standardise, reduction in human errors, as well as order and cleanliness in the factory.
Likewise, he made a comparison between the type of packaging for ends, he explained when to choose a plastic or paper bagging, and illustrated with examples on how Autorema develops integral projects to automate packaging, from bagging, going through palletizers and unwrapping.
And the thing is, in Autorema we are specialized in automating our clients ‘end-of-lines’, with projects spread all over the world, one should not be surprised the company exports 70 percent of its products and has a presence in five continents.
In turn, Moreno, who is a defender of the fourth industrial revolution, spoke about the main aspects of Industry 4.0, such as real-time monitoring, the so-called ‘digital twin’, ‘big-data’, collaborative robots, the loT or additive manufacturing, complementary tools to provide a new service that is much more personalized and adjusted to the demands of each client.
LATAMCAN 2021, which had to be postponed for a few months due to the coronavirus pandemic, is the most important technical conference in Latin America in the field of metal packaging, in which the main innovations and technological advances in the sector are presented.
