The synergy with the canmaking and the canning industry makes it possible to design machines adapted to the needs of the metal packaging sector
The slogan ‘Mechanical Engineering’ is a full declaration of principles in Autorema. The company has been developing from its origins a state-of-the-art technology with a fundamental purpose: to adapt to the needs of each client. Customers who are the main guarantee of the company.
And this is possible because the adaptability is one of the characteristics of the company from its birth, more than 30 years ago, in Murcia (at the South-East of Spain), a place known as the ‘cradle of the canning’. A strategic location, a few kilometers from some of the world’s largest can makers.
This demanding environment is at the same time a challenge and an inspiration for Autorema when creating pioneering and innovative solutions for the industry of the metal container and at the same time, responding exactly to the requests of every client.
The company is associated to the National Technological Center of Canning and Food, the great reference for the food industry in Spain and promoter of many research projects in collaboration with the European Union.
Indeed, to create machinery for the canning industry and the canmaking was the seed of Autorema that, over time, has developed a series of pioneering and vanguard solutions for the automation of lines of all types of packaging.
Its experience and capacity to take advantage of the synergies that arise with its clients, among which are the most important food packaging companies in the world, has allowed the company to develop industrial machinery and robots totally adapted to the latest market requirements.
As a matter of fact, nowadays Autorema has experience in the handling of all kind of packaging, from glass jars, to tinplate, aluminium, beverage, rigid plastic containers, as well as carton and ‘Doypack’. Solutions tailored to the customer, customizing the technology.
Autorema exports around 70% of its production to all continents, being Europe and the American continent the main destinations of its palletizing systems for metal cans and lids, packaging machines, robots and end-of-line machinery, among other products.
